Glass edging machine maintenance recommendations

Glass edging machine is one of the early and large mechanical equipment in glass deep processing equipment. The main function is to smooth the glass and make some special shapes. The correct and reasonable use of the edging machine can not only ensure the normal production, but also prolong the life of the machine. Conventional edging machine is divided into single-arm shaped edging machine, linear edging machine, die edging machine, CNC edging machine.

Glass edging machine mainly through grinding head motor and grinding wheel to achieve glass grinding and polishing, ordinary single side/double side edging machine can achieve rough grinding, fine grinding, polishing once completed. Customers can choose different grinding wheels according to their own processing requirements.

For the glass edging machine, I can provide the following use and maintenance advice:

1. Check the grinding wheel before use to ensure that its surface is smooth and without damage, otherwise it will affect the grinding quality.

2. Adjust the speed not too fast, generally in 1200-3500 RPM suitable to prevent heat affecting the glass.

3. Place the glass firmly on the work table and adjust the height to ensure that the glass is perpendicular to the grinding wheel and maintain proper contact.

4. During the grinding process, carefully control the width and depth of the grinding edge, and do not grind too much glass.

5. Spray the cooling water pipe of the grinding wheel, often check whether it is blocked to prevent abnormal water discharge.

6. Remove the surface dust after grinding, check the quality of the edge to ensure that there are no burrs and traces of edge breakage.

7. Clean the surface of the grinding wheel in time after use to remove the glass slag. Check and replace badly worn grinding wheels.

8. Add lubricating oil regularly to the mechanical rotation parts to ensure smooth operation. Check whether screws and rivets are loose.

9. Cover the machine with dust cover and store it in a dry place to avoid rust.

10. Regular maintenance can greatly extend the service life of the edging machine.
